1. Introduction & Practice Scope
Welcome to The Rooted Space, located in Kitchener, Ontario, Canada. By accessing our website, opting into our free promotional consultations, or participating in care sessions, you agree to comply with and be bound by these terms.
2. Promotional Free Session & Consult ($90 Value)
The Free Consult & Session offer (valued at $90 CAD) is provided on a complimentary, one-time basis per client. It involves a collaborative dialogue and orientation to our integrative wellness modalities. It does not establish a formal long-term clinical obligation or emergency crisis retainer.
3. Emergency & Crisis Services Disclaimer
The Rooted Space is an outpatient collaborative psychotherapy and integrative wellness clinic. We do not provide immediate 24/7 crisis intervention. If you or someone you know is in immediate crisis, please call 988 (Suicide Crisis Helpline across Canada), call 911, or visit your nearest emergency department (e.g., Grand River Hospital or St. Mary’s General Hospital in Kitchener).
4. Professional Governance
Psychotherapy services are governed by the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO) and the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association (CCPA). Other modalities adhere to their respective provincial regulatory bodies.
5. Cancellation, No-Show & Courtesy Policy
Your complimentary session is a $90 gift, and we set aside dedicated time for each one — just for you. Because demand for these openings is high and another person is often waiting, we ask for at least 24 hours' notice if you need to reschedule or cancel. This allows someone else from our Kitchener community to benefit from the opening.
Late cancellations (less than 24 hours' notice) and no-shows (a missed session without notice) take a complimentary spot away from someone who could have used it. Repeated late cancellations or missed sessions may affect your eligibility for future complimentary offers. Paid sessions may be subject to the full session fee for late cancellations or no-shows, at the practitioner's discretion.
To reschedule or cancel: use the reschedule link in your confirmation email, or reply to any email from us and let us know. We understand that life happens and emergencies arise — just reach out as soon as you can.
