At The Rooted Space, we treat your privacy and personal health information with the utmost respect, care, and legal diligence. We adhere strictly to Ontario’s Personal Health Information Protection Act (PHIPA) and the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).

When you opt into our complimentary consult & session, we collect your name, email address, phone number (optional), and responses to our qualifying health interest survey. During appointments, clinical health records are created and stored securely according to College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO) standards.

3. How Your Information is Used

Your information is used exclusively to:

• Schedule and confirm your complimentary session and consult
• Communicate vital appointment details and arrival instructions
• Tailor our collaborative discussions to your personal mental health goals
• Ensure safety and continuity of holistic care across modalities

We do not sell, rent, or share your contact or health details with any commercial third-party advertisers.

4. Limits of Confidentiality

As licensed healthcare professionals in Ontario, confidentiality is legally protected with specific statutory exceptions: immediate risk of serious physical harm to self or others; suspicion of abuse or neglect of a child or vulnerable person; or a legally binding court subpoena.
